Heathrow Airport fined £120,000 for data breach

The ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) has fined Heathrow Airport £120,000 for failing to secure sensitive personal data after a member of public found an unencrypted USB stick containing data about the airport’s staff. At the time of the breach, reports claimed that data on the stick also included the Queen’s travel itinerary.
