We have different types of content in Preservica requiring different levels of controlled access. Watch the webinar replay Jan recently presented about the Preservica/Ex Libris Primo integration at an ELUNA Learns session. In this way, Primo is allowed restricted access to Preservica and can harvest from it using the OAI-PMH protocol.

In this post, we give some thoughts to the long-term access of the materials collected from these websites. After the sunsetting, the site is not accessible at its original web address. A decision about which approach to take inevitably will be a trade-off between access, integrity, cost, and (the rapid change of) technology.
