A 2022 Proofpoint study found that 76% of UK board members believed their organisation to be at risk of a material cyber attack in the next 12 months – higher than the global average of 65%. Specifically, a 13.4% drop for charities (from 72% to 62%).

Mobile network database breach exposes 750 million Indians’ personal data The Indian security company CloudSEK claims to have found the personal data of 750 million Indians for sale on an “underground forum”. Compromised data includes victims’ names, addresses, phone numbers and Aadhaar numbers (a 12-digit government identification number).
