In fact, Technorati might benefit by incorporating some more sophisticated social network analysis measures for centrality than simple indegrees. Or maybe they just need Googles Page Rank ? Unfortunately that might require some serious number crunching on the Technorati servers.

If we go back to my own take on email information overload, summarised in a short article I wrote in 2005 (PDF, 81KB), I concluded then that: " There are no quick fixes for dealing with e-mail overload. And if so, that is what Google will do for you. James, I very much agree with the summary comment from your 2005 paper on email.
