In fact, Technorati might benefit by incorporating some more sophisticated social network analysis measures for centrality than simple indegrees. Or maybe they just need Googles Page Rank ? Unfortunately that might require some serious number crunching on the Technorati servers.

Now, a word of caution - and dont shot me over this - I should explain that this data has come out of Google incoming link data; it would just have taken to long for me to pull the data together otherwise. So these maps are really based on the incoming links that Google thinks are worth collecting. What other patterns can you see?

So if we ignore the four exceptions, everyone is a niche player - which actually makes sense, but doesnt provide much value in terms of analysis. For that matter, where is Google in this? For that reason, I was surprised not to see others in the Enterprise Web 2.0 Thanks guys - Ill let you know what I think.

If we go back to my own take on email information overload, summarised in a short article I wrote in 2005 (PDF, 81KB), I concluded then that: " There are no quick fixes for dealing with e-mail overload. And if so, that is what Google will do for you. James, I very much agree with the summary comment from your 2005 paper on email.
