The March 7, 2019, exposure drafts of the CFR Model Laws have been revised to address those comments as well as certain other comments received from interested parties.

To date, the Commission has adopted 12 such decisions. I am therefore pleased that the Government’s position paper also calls for a future relationship that builds on the adequacy model. Decisions also follow a lengthy procedure, so the chances of having an adequacy decision in place by March 2019 are small.
