In March 2021, the European Commission released a proposal for the creation of a “Digital Green Certificate,” which will allow EU citizens to travel easier throughout the EU during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the revised text of the Council, the European Parliament is expected to adopt its position at its plenary on April 26-29, 2021.
