It is widely known that the UK government has committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the UK to net zero by 2050. Completed in 2019, a major new Library and Study Centre for St John’s College, Oxford was designed to achieve net zero-carbon. The project is due to be completed in autumn 2023.
