CGI have a long track record working in this area, so in this blog, I thought I’d provide a potted history to the term, its origins and what it means to us at CGI. Telemetry is restricted to simple monitoring eg for measuring power usage or pumps in an industrial context or the term was also used for tracking vehicles eg public transport.
