On the 29th of August, 2021, New Orleans felt the impacts of Hurricane Ida. Then, in January 2021, I assumed the position of Director of Archives and Records, making me the Records Manager and Archivist of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. On August 27, 2021, the OAR staff worked on hurricane preparations.
