NYDFS conducted its first audit of GGT for the period of May 17, 2018 through March 31 2019. Here, similar to the FTC’s settlement described in the link above, GGT had over-retained personal information, but that it had no plan to remediate the issue and, in fact, was indefinitely retaining data for no documented business purpose.
