My conclusion is that CTFs are intrinsically an eSport with the attribute of having a strong educational value. It’s generally a tournament that spawns over hours if not a few days, where teams don’t fight each other, but rather solve problems with security related techniques. Spoiler alert! eSports, what is this millennial aberration?
