The college, founded in 1246 and home to the oldest continuously functioning library for university academics and students in the world, was a fitting venue for over 100 delegates from 12 countries, who gathered for two days of presentations, workshops and discussion. We’re also hosting our US User Group meeting at SAA in August.

SAA 2017 Annual Meeting – Alike/Different

The first half of the week was taken up by a two day workshop on arrangement and description of digital archives, led by Carol Kussman (University of Minnesota Libraries) and Chris Prom (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign). The workshop was very popular – SAA ultimately expanded the number of seats available due to the demand.
