After several months of identifying and capturing content our next challenge lay in creating descriptive metadata for the collection. We decided to create a finding aid (PDF) that would be discoverable via the UNLV University Libraries catalog and the UNLV Special Collections and Archives finding aid interface.

Archive-It staff are streamlining the API that underlies the Archive-It web application to help simplify the process of connecting partners and their third party applications to information about their Archive-It accounts, collections, and crawls. Partners can now integrate existing W/ARC files into Archive-It collections.

In August 2015, GPO began exploring methods to analyze our Archive-It data collected through Google Analytics. We also used the free tool on AnalyticsMarket called IP Range Regular Expression Builder , built an IP range filter (Image 3), and confirmed the validity of the “IP Range Regular Expression Builder.”
