Tech and Training

Joining forces with Archives Unleashed

The Archive-It software suite will include more of the high performance analytical tools developed by our collaborators in the Archives Unleashed project, thanks to a generous grant by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to the University of Waterloo. Read about the project and its future on the Internet Archive blog.

Understanding the “web” in web archives

Web archivist Jillian Lohndorf introduces the technology stacks underlying our experience of the web and its archives in her latest Archive-It blog post. It’s an especially helpful read for new web archivists and/or those readying to delve into more advanced training topics.
