Cybersecurity firm Akamai successfully identified and prevented a massive distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack targeting an unnamed, leading American financial institution. Researchers from Kaspersky discovered several Telegram mods on the Google Play Store that contained spyware, the campaign was tracked as Evil Telegram.
