In the article Facebook: upload your nudes to stop revenge porn , written by Lisa Vaas on the aptly named site Naked Security (what else?), Facebook says that it won’t be storing nude pictures but will use photo-matching technology to tag the images after they’re sent via its encrypted Messenger service. Good question.

Facebook already lets you tag people as “close friends,” but you can’t see only what they post and nothing else. Let everyone tag posts they believe are truly important — the deaths, the births, the divorces, the new job, the graduations. I know Facebook lets you tag your posts as “Life Events” (did you know that?! Key Moments.

I suspect the earlier adopters to watch will be the porn industry ;-) BTW If youre not ready for Second Life , try MyMiniLife instead. Maybe if the technology continues to improve beyond crude 3D rendering that might really create broad adoption? Perhaps work will become more like a video game ?
