[New Feature] Immediately Add User-Reported Email Threats to Your Microsoft 365 Blocklist from Your PhishER Console

Now there’s a super easy way to keep malicious emails away from your users through the power of the KnowBe4 PhishER platform!

The new PhishER Blocklist feature lets you use reported messages to prevent future malicious email with the same sender, URL or attachment from reaching other users. Now you can create a unique list of blocklist entries and dramatically improve your Microsoft 365 email filters without ever leaving the PhishER console.

Immediately Block and Manage User Reported Email Threats in Your Environment

If you identify a threat while reviewing the details of a user-reported email, you can add an entry to your blocklist immediately by clicking the Create Blocklist Entry button. With PhishML enabled, you can use PhishML tags to help you prioritize messages with attributes that you want to add to the blocklist.

PhishER will automatically sync with your email server to add new blocklist entries. The blocklist attribute is used to identify messages for your mail server to filter, and the mail server will automatically move the email to the Junk or Quarantine folder.

The Blocklist Entries page of the PhishER console provides a simple way to create new entries from outside sources and review all blocklist activity in your organization. This page gives you visibility into the status of email server synchronizations, dates of creation and expiration, and the ability to delete blocklist entries.

Connect PhishER to Microsoft 365

[New Feature] Immediately Add User-Reported Email Threats to Your Microsoft 365 Blocklist from Your PhishER Console

With the PhishER Blocklist feature enabled in your console, you can easily connect Microsoft 365 in the Integration Tab of your PhishER settings (see figure above). If your organization manages multiple Microsoft 365 tenants, you can add all of those connections to the PhishER console and create blocklist entries from one central location. The PhishER Blocklist is enterprise-ready because it provides automatic, bidirectional syncing of entries between tenants.

The PhishER Blocklist Feature Allows You To:

  • Create, manage and sync blocklist entries without the need to leave the PhishER console
  • Add items to your blocklist immediately while reviewing the details of a user-reported email or ad-hoc in the Blocklist tab
  • Synchronize the blocklist across multiple email tenants
  • Remove items from the blocklist either automatically or at will
