New Privacy+ Committee Seeks Volunteers

In the crown of PRISM International, perhaps there is no jewel so prestigious as Privacy+, the international certification program that the division offers, allowing information management companies to demonstrate commitment to ensure the privacy of information. During the first i-SIGMA Board of Directors meeting, this program was made a priority. To give the program the focus that it deserves the association is forming a new PRISM Privacy+ Certification Committee.
The PRISM Privacy+ Certification Committee will focus on the structure and integrity of the program, as well as the specifications, application, and processes. According to i-SIGMA Director of Certification Katie Mahoney, “This Committee is exactly the sort of member involvement the association needs to ensure the strength and reputation of Privacy+ Certification and PRISM International. They will be the ones responsible to review and make recommendations for improvement and promotion of the division’s flagship certification program. I look forward to our first meeting.”
Before the first meeting can take place though, the association is seeking members to volunteer to join. If you are interested in participating, please contact the i-SIGMA Committee Coordinator Sara Berntgen.
