OFFICE/RECORDS CENTER MOVE – A CASE STUDY (AND PRIMER)
Wednesday, November 8, 2023 – 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM via Zoom
Earl Johnson, CRM will present a case study of a major office move that he led while at Ernst & Young in Atlanta, complete with lessons learned. The move involved the coordination of about a dozen Records Coordinators throughout EY’s southeastern division, as well as several hundred users and a a huge records center. The webinar will offer valuable information and tips on how to conduct a major office/records center move.
Earl is a seasoned records and information management (RIM) professional skilled at managing business information as corporate assets, systematically. As a Certified Records Manager since 2008, he is experienced in the design, development, and implementation of user-friendly RIM programs, services, and best practices for both domestic and international organizations. His work spans over 30 years in several industries including energy, public utility, financial services, healthcare, professional services, and Federal/state government agencies.
In managing to be compliant with legal, fiscal, and operational values and retention obligations, his RIM objectives are simply to build tools and processes that ensure that records, information, and data are kept for as long as needed, available when needed, and protected against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction.
At the conclusion of this meeting, we will be giving away a free one-year membership to ARMA International and to the Metro Maryland Chapter. visit https://arma-metromd.org/announcements.php?id=14 for details!
