Ranked by CIO.com as a “must attend” and “most relevant” cybersecurity technology event, OpenText™ Enfuse features a unique blend of technology, experts and labs to discuss some of today’s most challenging security and digital investigation challenges. With the Las Vegas conference fast approaching, we sat down with Muhi Majzoub, EVP, Chief Product Officer to get the latest on what you can expect at Enfuse this November.

What are you most looking forward to at Enfuse 2019?

Enfuse 2019 is going to be an incredible conference. I’m looking forward to connecting with over 1000 customers to understand the challenges being faced in today’s digital world, and how OpenText and our partners can help.

Information and data security is one of the biggest issues facing organizations today. As Mark Barrenechea (OpenText CEO & CTO) often says: Security is Job 1 for the enterprise. This couldn’t be more true today, and I’m excited to showcase the latest advancements in our OpenText Security suite of products, as well as our eDiscovery and AI and analytics solutions.

What can security professionals expect to take away from the conference?

Education, education, education! Enfuse has always centered on providing security, legal and law enforcement professions with the opportunity to enhance their skills and deepen their knowledge and understanding. And Enfuse 19 continues that tradition with attendee registration including valuable training and certification credits for EnCE, EnCEP, Axcelerate, CLE and CFSR certifications, at no additional cost.

For law enforcement, legal and security professionals, having proven skills in processes like eDiscovery, cybersecurity, and digital forensics is invaluable. Our flagship certification program, EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) certification, is the industry standard for proving your expertise in EnCase Forensic. This certification shows you have mastered computer investigation methodology as well as the use of EnCase software during complex computer examinations.

Over the past few years, the EnCase Certified eDiscovery Practitioner (EnCEP) certification has become an industry-standard way of demonstrating proficiency in electronic discovery planning, project management, and best practices.

Our newest addition to certification is the Certified Forensic Security Responder (CFSR) certification. This certification is a great way to demonstrate proficiency in cutting-edge, real-world, digital forensic applications.

Can you give us a hint on what to expect during your keynote on Wednesday, November 13?

As always, my focus will be on what OpenText technology can do for our customers, and how we are building out our product and solution roadmap to solve the real and pressing issues being faced every day.

I’m looking forward to highlighting our accomplishments from the past year and to showcasing future products live on stage!  We have some spectacular demos lined up to show the power of our Security and Discovery suite solutions.

I’m also looking forward to some on-stage discussion with customers, looking at how our products are helping to solve crimes, prevent cyberattacks and enhance security.  And finally, I can’t wait to hear from our keynote speaker, James Clapper, the former U.S. Director of National Intelligence. His experience in the world of national security is going to be unmissable.

Any new/big product announcements we should look for at Enfuse?

We always work hard to make sure we unveil some big surprises at both Enterprise World and Enfuse!  And this year will be no different.  I can’t reveal too much before November 13, but look out for announcements across the OpenText Release 16 product portfolio, advancements in the cloud and specific updates to our Security and Discovery suites.

I can’t wait to see you all at OpenText Enfuse this November – it’s going to be an incredible event.

Enfuse 2019 takes place from November 11-14 at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
