This annual conference brings Archive-It partners and peers together to share the year’s web archiving news, insights, and developments. Building on the success of the 2020 online program, this year’s meeting will include virtual speaker panels with interactive Q&A segments.

Community Webs joins DPLA

The Internet Archive is joining the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) to share metadata from 700+ and growing public web archive collections curated by the Community Webs partners in local history and public libraries. Read the announcement to learn more about this significant step forward in access to web archives.

There’s still time for public libraries and community memory institutions around the world to join Community Webs. Apply here by August 2nd for access to subsidized web archiving resources and training with a new cohort of your peers this fall.

Preserving Web-Based Art History & Culture

The Internet Archive and the New York Art Resources Consortium (NYARC) will bring 30+ American art and museum libraries together to collaborate on web archive collections with a generous preservation and access grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Read the announcement for full details and fill out the participation form to join us if you collect art resources.
