New opportunity for public libraries

Deadline approaching! We’re inviting 150+ more public libraries to join the Community Webs cohort of web archiving partners. With generous support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the program is expanding nationwide to provide free web archiving and technical services, education, professional development, and funding to build community history web archives documenting civic life and especially communities traditionally under-represented in the historical record.

If you are or know a public librarian interested in joining the program, you can review the full call for applications and the program FAQs. Online applications are being accepted through Sunday, January 31, 2021

Have questions? Register here to join the open webinar Wednesday, January 20, and learn much more about the program.

Quarterly update and year-in-review

Join the next open call and 2020-in-review with the Internet Archive staff and Archive-It partners on Wednesday, January 20, at 10AM Pacific, 1PM Eastern, 6PM GMT.
